Our Story

Why we started Sennary

Sennary began after watching too many early founders in Petaling Jaya and beyond stumble over the same basic questions — where does the business account start and personal money end, what does a simple profit picture actually look like, and how do you keep records tidy enough to hand to a professional later. None of these questions require complicated theory. They require a clear explanation, delivered without jargon.

We built our first workshop around a single idea: treat business finance like a set of building blocks. Each concept stands on its own, gets explained plainly, and connects to the next one in a logical sequence. That founding workshop grew into a small library of courses, and eventually into the Complete Entrepreneurship Finance Programme that founders now use as a full grounding in the money side of running a venture.

Our mission stays the same as it was on day one: give founders in Malaysia a steady, practical understanding of business finance basics, so they can make informed decisions and know when it's time to bring in a licensed professional for anything beyond general education.

Sessions are kept small enough for founders to ask questions specific to their own situation.

Business Finance Education for Founders in Malaysia

Sennary works with founders across Selangor and beyond who want a clearer picture of business money without wading through technical manuals. Our workshops and courses cover the practical layer of running a venture: separating personal and business funds, tracking cash flow in a simple format, understanding common financial terms, and organising records well enough to hand to a professional accountant or advisor when the time comes.

Every module is written and delivered as general education. We do not position any session as a substitute for licensed accounting, tax or investment advice. Instead, our aim is to give founders enough grounding that conversations with professionals become easier and more productive, and day-to-day money decisions feel less uncertain.
